Meet Delana Connors, APRN, FNP-C
Delana Connors of Called to Care, LLC is a Family Nurse Practitioner board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She has experience in primary and acute care, including medication reconciliation, medical and surgical history review, prescription management, physical exams, lab review, and specialty provider referrals. Delana also performs acute care visits encompassing treatment of a wide range of illnesses or injuries.
Having been a nurse for many years prior to completing her graduate studies in Family Practice, Delana worked in multiple fields, including inpatient and outpatient treatment care settings. She is also a Certified Medical Examiner and can offer DOT CDL exams. Prior board certifications include Hospice and Palliative care, as well as Case Management.
Mission
Delana is passionate about expanding her knowledge and expertise in her professional field and learning new aesthetic treatments and procedures to help people feel their best. In addition to being an experienced Primary Care Provder and Acute Care Clinician, she holds certifications in botox and dermal filler and is currently expanding her skill-set to include Hormone Replacement Therapy, IV Hydration, and weight management. Her long term goal is to provide holistic care that addresses the mind, body, and spirit.
Personal Life
Born and raised in Marion County, Delana is eager to return to serve in the community she holds dear to her heart. She has been married to her husband, Chris, since 2001, and they have four sons together. Delana’s interests include travel, especially cruises, as well as crafting and local festivals. She also is very fond of animals and has two corgi’s, Waffles & Winifred, and a tuxedo cat named Ajax.
